Michael Hansen is President of White Pine Environmental, LLC, a small privately-held environmental consulting company specializing in waste facility vendor support services. He has over twenty years of environmental experience in both industry and consulting, specializes in the auditing of waste treatment/disposal/recycling facilities and e-scrap recycling facilities. For the past 16 years he has been a contractor to CHWMEG, where he has been recognized numerous times for his outstanding contributions to that organization. He has also served as an expert witness in Superfund-related litigation. In addition, Mr. Hansen was previously an environmental compliance manager for Philip Metals, a one billion dollar ($US) operating division of Philip Services Corp. Mr. Hansen has taught Environmental Science classes at the Community College of Allegheny County and on his personal time he is Chairman of the Pine Township Planning Commission, Vice President of the Pine-Richland High School Softball Boosters, and the coach of a USAVB Club Volleyball Team.
